About the company
Audit & Risk Consulting was founded in 2009 with the vision of creating value for everyone. We will always listen to, and work closely with, our stakeholders to help ensure satisfaction.

Leadership Team
Elaine Harris (Chairperson of Advisory Board):
Elaine brings over 27 years experience at Ernst & Young in Audit, Risk, Technology and Security Services where she led implementations of various regulations, such as SOX, affecting multinational organisations. She has served in Leadership positions in the US, UK, France, and Japan. Elaine is also the Chairperson of the Audit & Risk Software Solutions Ltd Advisory Board and a Non-Executive Director of numerous global organisations.

Fred Oberholzer (Co-founder and Managing Director):
One of the original founders of Audit & Risk Consulting. He holds advanced degrees in the Arts (Political Sciences) and Commerce (Accounting Sciences). Fred is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS). Fred has experience gained in the financial services, telecommunications, entertainment, pharmaceutical, real estate, construction, automotive, paper, retail, and manufacturing industries. Before starting Audit & Risk Consulting, Fred most recently worked for the Big 4 firms of Ernst & Young and KPMG, managing a portfolio of external and internal audit clients. Fred is also a director of Audit and Risk Software Solutions Ltd.

Anish De (Co-founder and Director):
One of the original founders of Audit & Risk Consulting. Anish has over 15 years experience of Audit, Risk, Technology and Software Development gained in the UK and India with “Big 4” professional services firms including Ernst & Young and KPMG and the financial services industry. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Anish possesses an excellent blend of industry experience in the banking and securities sectors, as well as professional services / consulting experience. Anish holds a M.Sc. in Geology, as well as being a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Anish is the Managing Director of Audit and Risk Software Solutions Ltd.

Ravi Joshi (Director):
Ravi's areas of specialisation include IT assurance and advisory services, risk management, outsourcing assurance and business process re-engineering. Ravi is a very experienced and capable project manager who during his 11 years with Deloitte has successfully managed very large projects, including IT risk framework development; business process transformation and Sarbanes-Oxley projects; Financial Instruments and Exchange Law readiness; and audit engagements. While much of his work has been in the financial services sector he also has good experience in retail, manufacturing and services sectors. He has managed large teams and undertaken detailed assessments himself and has always been delivery and client focused. He is a subject matter expert in IT audit, service auditor reporting (SAS 70 and AAF), SOX and JSOX.
